This course will reiterate the commitment to monitor and document the Center’s compliance with appropriate federal, state and local laws and regulations. This course will augment the participant’s knowledge and understanding of our Compliance program.

Sharon Stouder, CPC, CPC-I, CPMA, CEMC, CHC

Compliance Director

AMSURG

Sharon Stouder is the Compliance Director for AMSURG. In this role, she oversees the company’s Corporate Compliance Program and is responsible for implementing regulatory standards and policies, as well as communicating, institutionalizing, and monitoring compliance with these standards and policies. Sharon joined AMSURG in 2004 working in both Business Operations and Internal Audit before accepting her current position in Compliance in 2017. With 17 years of AMSURG experience and more than 25 years in the healthcare industry, Sharon knows how the company operates and what is required to stay compliant. Sharon holds the following credentials in professional coding and compliance; CPC (Certified Professional Coder), CPC-I (Approved Instructor), CPMA (Certified Professional Medical Auditor), CEMC (Certified Evaluation and Management Coder) through the AAPC and CHC (Healthcare Compliance certification) through the CCB for the HCCA.
